Valentine's Day Sweets

Valentine's Day 2013 is Thursday, February 14th so plan to swing by Cocoa & Fig to pick up your sweet's favorite treats!  There will be gift boxes of decorated cupcakes, French macarons, cake lollipops, heart-shaped flourless chocolate cakes with sweet nothings on top, and more!  

Pre-order your gift box for quick and easy pick-up - you can even personalize the inscription on your flourless chocolate cake!  The Cocoa & Fig retail store is located in Gaviidae Common - Skyway Level, Saks Wing - 651 Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis and will be open on Valentine's Day from 8am until 6pm.

A Whimsical Birthday Cake

We were asked to create a cake inspired by Dr. Seuss for Abir's birthday, and here's a few shots of the final design.  All of the decorating was done in fondant with hand painted shading and outlining.  Almost too cute to cut into!

1st Birthday Cake with Trucks

This was a fun, 2 tier birthday cake we did with heavy-duty trucks driving around the top tier and lots of colored stripes on the bottom tier.  Super cute 1st birthday cake for the little guy!

Outdoor Wedding Dessert Table: Bri and Matt

Bri and Matt were married outdoors on a lovely September day. There were vintage touches throughout including adorable chalkboard signage welcoming and directing guests.  Their mini dessert table included a simple, single tier wedding cake, Peanut Butter and Lemon Cake Lollipops, Carrot Cake and Black Velvet Mini Cupcakes, and Fresh Fruit Tartlets.  Special thanks to Jessica Smith for the gorgeous, glowing photos, and congratulations to the happy couple!
