Twin Cities Wedding Cake and Miniature Dessert Table: Melissa and Patrick

A perfect display of vintage elegance was arranged for Melissa and Patrick's mid-summer wedding.  The event guru duo at mimi design teamed up with vintage rental company Lime Canary to create the beautiful setting for the reception at the Depot downtown Minneapolis.  Andrew from Andrew Vick Photography did an outstanding job on capturing photos during the celebration.

The 2 tier wedding cake design was based on the bride's gorgeous gown and had a fondant exterior with detailed lace applique around the sides and rows of buttons up each tier.  An elegant sugar flower was perched on side of the top tier to finish it off.

Miniature desserts included an assortment of Salted Caramel and Pistachio French Macarons, Southern Banana Pudding and Dark Chocolate Layered Desserts, Black Velvet Mini Cupcakes, Peanut Butter Cake Lollipops, and Fresh Fruit Tartlets.  The couple also chose French macaron guest favors to send with their guests at the end of the evening with hangtags by Paperista.

Congratulations Melissa & Patrick!
