Valentine's Day at Cocoa & Fig

What better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than with some Cocoa & Fig sweets? We're gearing up for a weekend full of love at our retail shops with treats for you and your valentine! We have some of our favorite Valentine's Day treats returning and are also introducing some new items as well. Check out some of our featured items below, along with our Valentine's Day gift menu!
 
 Everyone loves a Cocoa & Fig cupcake! We will have an assortment of delicious cupcakes at both of our retail shops, including a gluten-free option as well!  Haven't tried one of our delicious C&F Homemade Chocolate Sandwich Cookies before? Valentine's Day is the perfect time to try a Cocoa & Fig favorite - we've cut our delicious chocolate cookie dough into adorable hearts and filled them with a pink vanilla cream filling.  An added bonus? These amazing cookies are also gluten-free!

 Cake Lollipops are a favorite among Cocoa & Fig's clientele and we certainly haven't left them out of our Valentine's Day menu! We will have an assortment of flavors at both shops, including our Confetti Cake Lollipops which are featured above.

 New for Valentine's Day this year are our delicious and adorable sugar cookies! Our buttery, lemon zest spiked sugar cookies are topped with a vanilla icing and decorated in their Valentine's best!

Our French Macarons are always delicious and this year, we've dressed them up for Valentine's Day in an array of colors and a splash of miniature heart-shaped sprinkles! Need a little gift for someone special in your life? We can package six of our French Macarons up in a gift box and tie it up with a satin ribbon!

Back again after a successful introduction last year, our Raspberry Swirl Cheesecake fits right in with our Valentine's Day assortment of sweets! A rich vanilla bean cheesecake is accented with heart shaped raspberry swirls and topped with fresh whipped cream and raspberries.

Lindsey & Nick

When Lindsey and Nick told us about the term they had coined for their wedding - "urbustic" (urban-rustic), we knew that we were going to have a blast designing their wedding cake for the big day!  This three tier cake design incorporated a modern fondant ruffled tier, two solid gold tiers, and also one of the cutest cake toppers we've ever seen.  Enjoy the pictures of these two lucky ducks and their wedding cake!

Brittany & Dan

Brittany & Dan had a gorgeous winter wedding at the James J. Hill Library in St. Paul. The space lent itself perfectly to the vintage-inspired theme, which was accented by fresh floral arrangements in blush pinks and ivories. Cocoa & Fig provided the beautiful dessert table for the day and incorporated the vintage theme into the table with gold cake stands and platters along with a vintage bride and groom cake topper provided by the bride! Desserts included salted caramel French macarons, pistachio French macarons, black velvet mini cupcakes, sinfully chocolate mini cupcakes, key lime dessert shooters, Southern banana pudding dessert shooters, and fresh fruit tartlets. Congratulations Brittany & Dan!

Lily's Bat Mitzvah

What do you do for a girl who loves chocolate and candy? Give her an awesome candy & dessert buffet for her Bat Mitzvah! We were so excited to be a part of Lily's big celebration! The Westin Edina was the perfect venue for such a fun party, and Amy Zaroff Events & Design executed the vision perfectly - which included a dance floor with a custom logo, custom candy boxes, as well as an colorful backdrop for the dessert buffet.  Cocoa & Fig provided an array of desserts, all with touches of bright pink, purple, and lime green to go with the theme of course! Desserts included; cake lollipops, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered pretzel sticks, dessert shooters, miniature cupcakes, and chocolate covered rice krispie treats.
