Baby It's Cold Outside!

 Abbey & Mike's wedding day was a perfect way to encapsulate all that is wonderful about winter. From fur shawls and carriage rides, to hot chocolate bars and delicious desserts! Cocoa & Fig provided a miniature dessert table and cake for the big day.  The desserts tied in with the wintery theme with hints of silver and fruit tarlets topped with blackberries and blueberries.  Other dessert offerings included French macarons, mini apple pies, tiramisu dessert shooters, dark chocolate dessert shooters, cake lollipops, and mini cupcakes. The wedding cake had a rustic, spackled buttercream exterior, garnished with fresh succulents and an adorable pair of Mr. and Mrs. lovebirds.

Dessert Table for Fete de Blanc at L'atelier Couture Bridal

Cocoa & Fig had the privilege of providing sweet bites for Fete de Blanc, L'atelier Couture Bridal's grand opening celebration last month.  The luxury dress shop moved from Selby Avenue in St. Paul to downtown Minneapolis.  It was a lovely evening with a runway fashion show featuring gowns by Peter Langner who flew in from Italy just for the event!  Many industry professionals and l'atelier clients were in attendance to help owner Amanda Kautt and staff celebrate their new Minneapolis location.

Our all-white miniature dessert table included White Chocolate Raspberry Cake Lollipops, Coconut Mini Cupcakes, White Chocolate Dipped Pretzels, Vanilla French Macarons, Russian Tea Cakes, Banana Pudding Dessert Shooters, and a variety of cheeses and crackers.

Congrats l'atelier couture and welcome to Minneapolis!

FOUND // The Art of Wedding featuring Cocoa & Fig

Join us for a revelatory night of cocktails and celebration as Photogen Inc. and Rivets & Roses present “FOUND // The Art of Wedding," on Friday, January 20th, 2012 at 514 Studios in the North Loop district of Minneapolis.

FOUND celebrates local talent working to elevate weddings to an art form and introduces engaged couples and Twin City art lovers alike to their work. Minneapolis Wedding Inspiration Shoot: Vintage Wedding in the Woods

Autumn in Minnesota is the perfect backdrop for an outdoor wedding with the natural color scheme of warm, golden brown tones and hints of red and yellow.  This was the inspiration behind a photo shoot we did with some outstanding Twin Cities wedding vendors to create the beautiful setting of a vintage wedding in the woods (woods being the popular Woods Chapel in Orono, MN).

Cocoa & Fig desserts included Apple Galette, a 3-layer exposed Pumpkin Cake, Carrot Cake Cookie Sandwiches, Blueberry Pie, Vanilla Cheesecake with Cranberry Compote, and Chocolate Chunk Cookies.
