Weddings

Wow, it's been a while since my last post. Time to catch you all up on what's been going on with Cocoa & Fig. We catered a couple of weddings in the last month. The first couple went with our giant 3-foot cupcake tower with 2 flavors of cupcakes. This tower sits high on the table and was the focal point for the reception. I wonder how they reached the cake on the top?!?

Our giant 3-foot tower with wedding cake topper.

The tower decked out in chocolate cupcakes with mocha icing
and carrot cake cupcakes with lemon cream cheese icing.

The finished piece: what a show stopper!

The second wedding featured our 2-foot cupcake tower with baby cakes (our wording for little cupcakes!) and an elegant tiered cake designed by the bride herself! We love how these two pieces worked together and made for a lovely table display.

Stacked Cake with Monogrammed T design.

Our two-foot Cupcake Tower filled with Baby Cakes.
Dark Chocolate Fudge with Chocolate Satin Icing
Coconut Cake with Lemon Cream Cheese Icing
Vanilla Bean Cake with Vanilla Bean Icing

Coconut Cupcakes with Toasted Coconut Topping

The decorative bow is made from gum paste, an edible sugar paste
used to create beautiful cake decor.

Thank you Joe and Laurie! The "baby cakes" you made for our wedding were WONDERFUL! The only problem was WE should have ordered more! They went so fast and everyone was talking about how good they were, well actually they are still talking about how good they were! You two are such helpful and wonderful people to work with. THANK YOU!
