Christina and Pat's 5 Tier Wedding Cake

Christina and Pat's gorgeous 5 tier wedding cake was a great centerpiece for the elegant setting at the Graves 601 hotel.  The cake featured a large sugar flower on the top tier and a broach style flower on the fourth tier with alternating ruffled and ribbon detailing at the base of each tier. I loved how it went with the simplicity of each table centerpiece which was a tall vase with a single white orchid stem.  Congratulations Christina and Pat!

Inspiration Shoot: In This Place Called Heavenly

Our summer has been delightfully busy, but we took a break for an amazing inspiration photo shoot with some of Minnesota's top wedding vendors. The shoot took place in a restored school house on a farm in Osakis, Minnesota with the theme, "In this place called Heavenly." And heavenly it was with a rustic yet elegant setting and sweet hints of lavender, pink, red, and blue. Desserts of ours included Rhubarb Galettes, Berries and Cream Shooters, and Lemon Meringue Tarts, along with three charming buttercream cakes each with unique icing styles.

Brandon Werth did a beautiful job on the photography, and we couldn't have asked for a better collaboration with MN's finest vendors!

The inspiration shoot was also featured on the fabulous Wedding Chicks.

Bridal Shower with Table 6 Productions

Cocoa & Fig was asked to design a specialty cookie guest favor that reflected the bride's modern Cinderella themed shower.  It was put together by the fantastic Stephanie Johnson at Table 6 Productions with invitations and signage by Paperista.  The amazing photos are the handiwork of Jennie from Sewell Photography.  Thanks for including us in your awesomeness ladies!

We thought these chic glass slipper sugar cookies with detailed royal icing and satin bows were the perfect complement to the party. Everything was beautifully coordinated with the unique monogram and glass slipper design.
